Activities of Japan IMS Association

The IMS Global Learning Consortium (IMS GLC), the parent body of the Japan IMS Association, has released more than 25 technical standards related to education and learning. The IMS Association of Japan has set up subcommittees specializing in digital badges (Open Badges), LTI®, Caliper, and OneRoster, which are of particular interest in Japan. The subcommittee is promoting activities tailored to the characteristics of each technical standard, such as domestic dissemination, localization, implementation support, and feedback to IMS GLC.
