The theme of application is free, and there is no limit to the number of entries. Based on the common evaluation criteria for judging, we will evaluate the contents, services, solutions, and case studies that predict the development of educational ICT from among the submitted works.

Since the IMS Japan Award has the character of LIA district qualifying, the selection criteria are set based on the LIA selection method.
However, from the perspective of gaining a broader understanding of the activities of the IMS Global Learning Consortium in Japan, Japanese is also accepted for application documents.
From the second screening of the IMS Japan Award (finalized by the top few points), overseas judges will also participate and the screening will be conducted in English (if the application documents are in Japanese, they will be translated into English in consultation with the applicant). ..

Purpose

The award, founded in 2007, selects the most powerful and influential awards in the use of technology in learning support from around the world.

Qualification requirements

It may be a provider that provides products or services (including professionals and types in the development stage) or an education / training institution that is its end user, but specify the name of the product or service and the institution to which it is introduced. ..

Examination process

The final review will be conducted by a panel of experts selected by the IMS Global Learning Consortium.
After the application deadline, the first screening will be conducted and the first successful applicants (Finalist) will be decided. In addition to the materials at the time of application, the final examination will be conducted.
1) Promotion or presentation video within 4 minutes
2) A one-page document summarizing the results
3) It will be held at the presentation and Q & A session at the spring convention next spring. In addition, at the spring tournament, a popularity vote will be held by the participants, which will be reflected in the judging.

Type of award

There are 4 levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. The IMS Global Learning Consortium will make a press release on LIA and will introduce and distribute it in the Annual IMS Learning Impact Research Report. The video used in the screening will be posted on the IMS website.
